I'll tell you right now, I'm grateful for my wife. It's hard to even know where to start when I talk about who she is and what she brings to my life. But one thing she does incredibly well is find Biblical hope and encouragement for our daily lives. She often, out of the blue will say, "Donny, I was reading this and..." or "Have you ever thought of...?" or "We really need to pray about this... right now."
This morning was one of those times. While I was out with my nephews this morning, she texted me a blog from YouVersion, in my opinion, the best Bible app out there. It's called '3 Encouraging Truths to Remember When Life Gets Hard.' Referring to a very familiar Jesus story, it brings out a couple really important things for our time right now. It's so easy, with the 24/7 news coverage of the virus, to only see the scary. But let's not forget this world-changing charge from the book of Hebrews: "Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus" (Hebrews 12:2).
